Still, she can't hide the presence she carries with her everywhere, captain of her own ship, leader of a crew, her voice tends to carry when she speaks, and often in tones that brook no refusal. Carrying herself with the confidence of a woman that has earned her place in life through hard work, she has a tendency to play just as hard when she does decide to let loose.

Kaldur's primary flaw is that he has learned to ignore fear. In chasing challenge after challenge, he even thrills at it. Cliff-jumping? Swimming depthless waters? Climbing rocks to dizzying heights? Check, check, check. His sister Peri may be interested in exploring the world, but Kaldur is interested in exploring limits. It doesn't mean he's selfish, but it does mean he'll take risks that might not be wise. Now the Duke-consort of Crovane, he may learn to temper that trait.
