Amber is one of those rare Arvum dwellers who has spent time on the continent of Eurus, and even farther to the east - all the way towards the far sea - in the kingdom of Daobujin Bo. There she met her husband, Nisoi. Foreign stranger or not, he fell hard for Amber's exotic coloring and her soft, sweet laugh, and she was just as taken. Together, they dreamed of finding a safe route through the vastly uncharted seas to reach Arvum, opening up lines of trade between the distant, distant peoples. Nisoi died before that dream could be realized, but Amber made it home to Arvum, to the forests around Bastion. She's still committed to the dream she had with her love, and bears a few treasures from Daobujin Bo to sell so she can finance it.

Petite and softspoken, Amber would blend right into any crowd were it not for the beautiful waves of coppery-gold hair cascading around her in a carelessly loose fall. Her eyes are a warm, light brown, and they carry such genuine kindness. Along with her lush mouth given to smiling freely, her mien is so sweet and cheerful one might almost miss the sadness buried in those eyes.

Cheerful and softspoken, Amber is a quiet, petite woman with an unflinchingly brave and direct view on life and events. She lost her husband, and it hardened her - but not completely. Determined to continue the dream they started together, she is ferocious in the pursuit of the best deal, and is ruthless about her trade agreements. But beneath it all, she really does have that heart of gold. She also remembers gold may be the softest of metals, but it's still a metal, and a heart of gold doesn't mean you have to let people take advantage of you.
