The Brindleberry Wood is a place of mystery and wonder, like many of the beauteous regions of the Gray Forest. Many people don’t know where the exact location of the Crownsworn barony and some say that is by design. The inhabitants are known to be reclusive hermits who don’t like to be bothered by outsiders and tend to keep to themselves. With their holding being built in the middle of nowhere surrounded by hundreds of miles of trees and no roads in or out, at first glance, it makes sense that they largely go unnoticed. Sylvana is a native to the wood, the eldest daughter of the eccentric Baroness Hope Chatreuxe-DeVirre. Although her family never leaves the wood she tends to be much more adventurous and outgoing, always chasing some new thrill or daring venture - usually against her mother’s wishes. Without a doubt she is a wonderful, fun-natured, good-hearted person but she has been known to cause trouble. After spending her bachelorette years going from one adventure to the next or mapping out regions not traversed in ages she decided to set aside her reckless ways and pursue more responsibility. In the last few months, her mother decided this was an excellent opportunity to seal an alliance and make new friends outside of the wood for the first time in centuries. Sylvana was entered into an arranged marriage and ended up in Tremorus where she has taken to the mountain with gusto and a natural grace to be expected of an adventurer like herself. Her wife, Lady Nephele of the principle House, is a wonderful partner who has been drawn out from her own hermitage which has only further endeared Sylvana to the Leporidae and their Proscipi cousins.

Sylvana is a woman whose beauty was crafted by Petrichor than by the hands of Jayus and His touch is evident in her physiognomy. Tall, willowy, and supple are good words to describe her. There is something effortlessly mercurial about her, as if her moods and beauty shift and change with the seasons themselves - her hair most certainly does but is usually a bright cadmium red with vines and leaves entwined with the silken locks no matter how it is styled. Her skin is creamy and smooth with a tinge that goes beyond olive. The softness of her curves are contrasted by the toned nature of her muscles, a telltale sign of her prowess as a huntress. She favours vivid floral colors such as mauves, golds and greens in her clothing and while flowers don't quite turn to face her as she passes by, no one would be surprised if they did. The beauty of this woman is wild, untamed and primal.

There are times where she is quiet and somewhat withdrawn but overall many would say that Sylvana is very motherly and nurturing. Despite her youthful appearance, she is filled with great wisdom in all matters of the natural world. Always willing to accept the company of others and a lover of stimulating conversation, Sylvana is especially drawn to those skilled in storytelling. She takes it upon herself to watch over any living tree, plant, or creature nearby like a doting mother would - regardless of their apparent dangerousness - which leaves some utterly bewildered by the company she keeps
