Julea's mother is a reknown and wanted pirate known as the 'Red Claw', and her father a retired Redrain soldier. Their match was unlikely and short lived and resulted in the birth of Julea. When she reached the age of 8, she was sent to live with her father, who, after having retired from his job as a sellsword, instead built a life for him and his daughter, creating swords and weaponry of considerable skill. He taught Julea his trade, and when she was old enough, she took it upon herself to come to Arx, and make a name for herself.

Inky black hair with a hint of reddish highlights spills from the crown of this slender womans head to just above the midway point of her back in uneven lengths. Her fringe falls from high on her head and cuts low and on an angle over her eyes, sharp and almost obscuring the stormy blue depths of her irises. Outlined in smudged black liner, and with long tangled black lashes, her eyes are intense and draw attention, consequently it would be easy to miss the rest of her face: high cheekbones adorned with a splattering of dun-coloured freckles and lips with a faint hint of colour. A relatively new scar crosses over Julea's right brow, just barely missing the eye and kissing the top of her right cheek before it fades. It is quite prominent, and is the only thing that mars her otherwise clear complexion.

Julea has a lot of sharp edges, she's not the easiest person to get along with. She has difficulty trusting and at times, her temper has been known to flare quickly. though it fades almost as fast. And while she tries, she just is something of a social clutz, inadvertantly insulting nobles as she bumbles through Arx. She is loyal to those she considers her friends, and struggles to trust tending to go on the defensive, or run. Often termed a posh pauper, she frequently fails to fit in among upper and lower classes both. Very sharp, and with a wit to match her intellect, it isn't uncommon for her tongue to get her in no end of trouble. It's just as well she can run fast, it's what she does best, right?
