One might initially look at Ember and underestimate her, a tiny and petite woman, but close examination shows a frightening look in her eyes. Fiery, passionate, and completely unabashed, her style of dress is often very unlady-like, and her posture the same. Having a fair share of scars from battles fought, she seems to inspire fear in the hearts of the men and women who stand beside her, as much as loyalty.

Personality

Ember is a vicious, mean, and without mercy. She has seized authority in her barony with an ambition that has outright frightened the men around her. Sometimes a blatant flirt, she has a tendency to act a bit masculine in how she goes about behaving, since so many take her feminine figure as a sign of weakness.

Background

Born as the twin sister to Marina Redleaf, Ember Redreef endured the prejudice that left her and her sister treated like property by her father. She fought long and hard against the cage she was forced into, both in the social and martial worlds, spending a great deal of time outside the Mourning Isles learning the sword before finally returning after Thrax changed the law to allow women to hold lands and titles. Despite her small stature, Ember quickly grew a reputation as a frightening woman to spar against, having gravely wounded men who underestimated her without even a hint of remorse. Eventually, she and her sister found themselves as sailors on a ship, where they got their taste for adventure, working as an unparalleled team.
