Description
Tall but not overly so, Joxur walks with a confident gait. He's strong but he's careful with it, and there's a grace to his movements bespeaking many years of physical training. He is as prone to smiling as he is to brooding, and his level gaze seems to take in everything with the careful attention of someone trained to observe.
Personality
From an early age Joxur has dreamed of being someone important. Not because he wants fame and fortune, but because he dreams of putting his life on the line in the protection of others. In the service of something greater. It shows - when he's alone he is prone to brooding and long silences, but then he comes alive when there are people around. The life of the party, friend to all, Joxur is a lover and a fighter. And if he doesn't care too much for politics just yet he's still young and has a lot to learn - and right now he's focused on learning how to stay alive while making love and war.
Background
He grew up far from Arx, one of many in a large family. But of all of them he knew what he wanted from an early age. Of course, it's fairly easy to become the best swordsman in a town with no swordsmen, so he traveled early. Gone more often than not in search of training, Joxur saw enough of the world around him to get a pretty good idea of what he wanted to do and be.
And then he went home - and instead of finding his family waiting for him, he learned that his two favorite sisters had left for Arx. One of them with a husband in tow that he'd never even met! So he set his sights on Arx and headed out once more - sword by his side, dubious armor worn and ready, to seek greatness among the denizens of Arx.
