Description
A man who has the look of someone who wore regality well. A strong jaw, a handsome brow, and a beautiful head of hair. He is now the man who shrugged it all off. Personality
Wash Kennex is a changed man. Where he was once a directionless, lazy, and devil may care cynic. The ocean, sailing, and the Saffron changed him. He found a renewed purpose, a calling that had never been answered until now. He is a sailor unmatched. Easy going and quick to smile and laugh. He loves his friends, adores his family by marriage, and there is no one comparable to the love of his life, Catalana.
Background
The house words of 'None Greater Than Grayson' is a lot to live up to. Formerly Prince Washburn Grayson, the prince was weary of the royal pressure by 14 and was a budding alcholic to escape it by 18. His embrace of an indolent lifestyle did not last, however. During one of their tours of Arx, Wash met the stunning Catalana Kennex. Someone so beautiful to him that it damn near slapped the lazy cynic right out of him on the spot, and he was suddenly deeply inspired to become a man worthy of her.
That night, Wash went about seeing to marrying this woman. Within three months Prince Washburn Grayson had become Lord Wash Kennex, something many would consider a significant social step down, but Washburn could not have cared less, and looked forward to figuring it out just what he wanted to do with his life among House Kennex. It wasn't until that he returned to Stormward with his new wife and family did he realize what might be his destiny. When Denholm Kennex took Wash out on a ship to sail around the territory for a day, it was if Mangata herself reached down and blessed the man with his true purpose- sailing. He was a natural, a true talent that finally found him receiving praise and recognition he had been missing throughout his life, and after some official training, he became one of the best the Kennex fleet had ever seen.
After serving with the Marquis Ford in the Thirteen Hammers operation, Wash was named Admiral of the Fleet and summoned to Arx to assist the Marquis in the war efforts, as well as help establish Kennex as a naval power house. It'll be strange for the former Grayson Prince to come back to his old home after so many years...
