- Hulvaster Hagelin + (Known by some, Hulvaster Hagelin is the so … Known by some, Hulvaster Hagelin is the son of Ake Hagelin, a recently passed Abandoned turned Prodigal then content stonemason in the city of Arx. His mother, Viktoria Sandin, a disciple of Vellichor and scholar with a particular inclination towards the natural world and the formation of the land. The two wed not long after Ake arrived in Arx and began to readjust his life within the borders of the Compact. Ake's point of origin had always been a tight-lipped secret, and was always referred in passing as 'a closed chapter'. Hulvaster, for his entire life, knew only the streets of Arx and the surrounding countryside. His father was preoccupied with tending to older buildings in the quarter he lived in, and so for much of his childhood, he joined his mother in her scholarly pursuits - seeing much of the coast and lands around Arx, being privy to knowledge in abundance. By the time Hulvaster turned 23, his father had passed from an unfortunate work-related accident. A 'violent but quick death' it was called. Now with the one link to a history still unlearned, Hulvaster resides in a city that becomes less and less familiar to him, and a world unknown to him beyond the walls of Arx calling to him.im beyond the walls of Arx calling to him.)
