There's always an angle, he casts wide nets to get involved with a great many projects, giving favors reaps favors, after all. Andry tries to keep up good relations with everyone he meets, you never know when they might be useful. He's a careful meticulous planner who makes sure to have his fingers in as many pies as possible and his sharp eye and wit to help out those in need.   Arthur is a good man, but not a grand one. He came from nothing and wants something, but he is not a greedy man. He is practical and knows the importance of wealth, however. Some nobles do not really understand the importance of their wealth, but Arthur grew up in the gutter, so he gets it. However, he does not want lavish riches or opulence. He would be happy to not have to scrape and scrap for each meal, and to have a comfortable bed, a woman to love, and to be able to do the craft he loves. Life, however, is never that simple, and he knows that. While he comes from a rough childhood, he has managed to keep a certain sense of hope and idealism through his worship of the Gods...specifically Jayus. He considers Jayus his patron, and many of his actions in life he views as being in service to him. He is loyal to those who earn his loyalty, and while he is not some hardcore warrior, he will shed blood to defend those he thinks require it. He is rough, but kind. Charitable, but practical.   Artur struggles with directed focus on many things in his life because there is so much to do and learn and be. Fancies tug at him like will-o-the-wisps, and he'll chase them with all the energy of an overgrown fleethound until the next one catches his attention and turns him after it. He can frequently get cheerfully lost down logic trains that make little sense outside his own head, and also, he's very bad at jokes, not because he doesn't enjoy humor but because he tends to "get" them about twenty minutes after everyone else in the room, sometimes with a loud "Oh!" and then a now-completely-inappropriate chortling laugh. Warm and friendly, frequently hyperactive almost to a point of manic in his energy, he can be contagious in his enthusiasms, and it's very easy to get caught up with him in his energy.   Arturo is a man at odds with his occupation. He does whatever he can to scrape by -- and there is little he wouldn't do if his situation demanded it-- but he has little drive or ambition to further himself. He is demure and shy, and one can hardly get a word out of him, lest he has lute in his hand. Music is his muse and inspiration, his true love, second only to that of his most favored vice. Dust. He has an addictive personality, almost to the point of being eccentric. When something strikes his fancy, he will obssess over it to no end, only for his eye to be caught by something else a week or month later. Music and dust have been the only things to capture his attention for any length of time. Beneath the surface of his quirks and shady jobs lies a kind, smart man.
