Vaar grew up in impoverished conditions his entire life, traveling from place to place, stealing where he could, working where he couldn't. He never really knew his parents, and was never taught any craftsmen's skills, thus his use to society was never recognized. Over the years, Vaar learned a trade entirely his own; where talking could not move his motives forward, his fists would do just fine. Where fists failed, a blade came into play. And when a more subtle approach was needed, quick fingers always got him far. Despite his... unique profession, Vaar has been known to be incredibly friendly, and seems to make friends wherever he goes.

Standing just below six feet tall, this man carries an air of calm about him. His leanly muscled frame seems to always carry one or two bruises, and scars crisscross his arms and chest. The soft features of his face are marred by a single scar stretching from the bridge of his nose, to his left ear. A seemingly permanent five-o-clock shadow frames his smooth face, and his icy blue eyes seem to stare into any they fall upon. In stark contrast to his light and soft features, long (and often dirty) raven-black hair falls into his face almost constantly, and rests just below his shoulders.

Vaar is always smiling, and seems to be good company with a drink. His laid-back nature and lack of formality are as readily apparent as his lack of motivation. Whether lounging around, or socializing with other citizens, Vaar is always a welcome member of any cheery group of vagabonds! With a drink or a pipe, Vaar is always ready for a good time, and is ALWAYS looking for a new way to make some coin. Though most people who meet Vaar would say he is a friendly and happy individual, those who have wronged him or insulted those he cares about have said he turns into a violent force on nature, hellbent on revenge.
