The Lower Boroughs is a place fraught with peril. It is a place of solace for the downtrodden, wretched rejects of life; however, it can be a place of second chances, of unshaped potential - a bastion of hope and dreams. Khloe Ulbran is a young woman who has witnessed all the phases of the lower boroughs, and survived all that the mercurial bitch named 'Life' has thrown her way. She's never had much to her name, and could care less for riches and glory. Instead, hers is a young life spent forever working to be the balm to the dark world around her. Be it using her intellect and cunning to win food for those who find themselves under her care or her softer charms and beguiling smile to loosen the strings of a merchant's coin purse, she holds no qualms about doing all she can for those truly in need. Even the scum of the Boroughs can't help but turn an eye to the young girl when in need.

Hers is a startling and extrinsic sort of beauty to behold; soft lines and sun-kissed golden skin are the canvas of features so delicately refined, while rich mahogany roots give way to the spill of ashen waves softer than the richest of fine-spun silks in their riotous cascade. Artfully shaped dark brows give way to bewitching, angled, graphite eyes in which it is so very easy to lose oneself in; at least, until long, sooted lashes lower demurely. The gentle round of cheeks curves down toward the natural pout of lush, bow-shaped lips. While hers is a silhouette that inspires to mind imagery of delicate pixies, she is possessed of a carefree whimsy that strikes her to be larger than life. Her smile is arresting and utterly infectious, fast to arrive and slow to depart, and hers is a voice of breathtaking clarity poised to shatter even the most frigid of hearts.

Life is hard. Life is unpredictable.
