Description

Gerry isn't particularly tall. He has a lean and sinewy muscular build that tells a history of hard work and depravity, and his palms are full of callouses. His hair is brown, going gray but still thick. His eyes are a hue of flat green, and they're hard from seeing too many grim things. His features sport a tan from years of harsh direct sunlight, with wrinkles at the corner of his eyes and at his mouth, and he sports a sometimes stubble, sometimes beard, but he's never perfectly clean shaven.

Personality

Gerry is a hard man, ruthless and without scruples, who will do just about anything if it's made worth his while. When his temper takes him there's a darkness in it, an embittered hate against the world and his lot in it. He has a shrewd mind, cunning, and for a common trader he is uncommonly educated. When the going is good, though, he is generosity itself, showering everybody around him with the spoils of his good luck. He will make a fortune, spend a fortune, the work his ass off to make another just so he can squander it away again.

Background

He's a shady trader, the kind who doesn't ask where the goods come from. From some of his scars and his stance, he knows how to handle himself in a tough spot. He arrived in Arx not long ago, less than a year, and has made his business mostly in the Lower Boroughs. With hm he brought his daughter, Catryn, for whom he has a real protective eye. Already a few wandering hands have resulted in quiet retaliation in a back alley until the word's spread that he doesn't take kindly to showing her disrespect.
