Description

Even at a glance it is easy to discern Enid is a woman of the North. Lean, but muscled, she depicts a fearsome figure with a mane of coarse platinum hair knotted & braided adding to a more typical display of a Prodigal of the mountains. Ice blue irises offer her a rather piercing gaze set deeply in the frame of oddly dark lashes and brow line. Her skin tells the tale of exposure to the outdoors, calluses running the expanse of slender fingers.

{w({nEnid's hair is a wild tangle per usual, though today a few braids are used to tame the white mane back and away from her face and knotted amidst various feathers and trinkets. She also wears her customary face paint: a thick strip of deep blue across her eyes giving a mask like appearance, a coat across her upper lip and a thumbprint in the center of her lower lip.{w){n

Personality

In first meeting, Enid is a stoic woman. She emits an underlying hesitance to engage, social barriers built as high as the guard walls of Stormheart. Every coin bears two sides though and the Northerner is no different. To her people and friends, the shaman is as warm as a hearth and known more locally as a good ear and counsel.

Background

Enid is not one to speak of herself often and so not much is known of the shaman's past beyond rumors that dance on the lips of the locals of Stormheart. Some say she was born of the sea and emerged from its depths on the guidance of a stormcrow. Others spin tales that she was raised by a feral pack of dire wolves in the high mountains surrounding Stormheart, driven to civilization out of hunger and a particularly harsh winter. The most broadly accepted version of her past is most mundane in its depiction of her life: a child of a nomadic tribe long lost to memory, its destruction founded at the blade's tip of a roving bandit group.

Even so, Enid has stood as a beloved spiritual leader of her people for over a decade and a tie between the Stormheart of today and the traditions of its prior generations as house shaman for House Ravenseye. In that role, Enid decided it was time to expand beyond the known of Stormheart and learn what it truly means to be a part of the Compact so as to better assist her people and find the combining vein between the tenets of the Compact and the traditions she so fervently values.
