Though his branch of the Velenosa family grows a bit far from the rest of the tree, Taddeo was born no less a Prince than any other. He spent his youth in the lap of luxury and early developed a taste for the finest things and most luxurious pleasures that life has to offer. It was perhaps, from the outside, thus a surprise when he left the noble family of his birth to take his godsworn vows. Brother, then a local Seraph. But there's only so far that a priest can rise in the further reaches of the Compact, and thus further ambition has brought Taddeo to Arx.

Taddeo's features are a delicate marriage of sculpted lines and sweeping curves: the harsh angles of his cheekbones and the square of his jaw, the gentle hollows of his cheeks and the rounded point of his nose. Lips and eyebrows might both be described as 'lush', with the latter the same striking black as his hair. Though not overly thin, there is a willowy grace to his tall frame and an elegance in the intention of his movements.

For someone who loves the finer things in life, leaving the lap of Lycene luxury has to come with an upside. Taddeo doesn't make any decisions without careful calculation; not even which evening dress will send the precisely intended meeting for a dinner party. Fashion can be important as wit, two motivations that guide Taddeo's ambitions. And he is ambitious; this is no priest content to spend his life as a Brother. He has his goals aimed far higher than that, and a vision driven less by wholehearted devotion to any particular god than by devotion to the institution of the Faith. He has plans, and he's going to see them out in glamourous style.
