Runo had a few silvers and a dream. That a child of the lowers, with nothing to his name and no future, could live a life where he never had to go hungry again. This was a pretty big dream for this boy, his parents being day labors when they could find jobs and beggars when they couldn't. He himself was put to work young, either working for his pay or asking for handouts. It was a tough, pitiful life, and there didn't seem to be an end. One fateful day in his late teens, everything changed. Begging on the streets, a rather lovely fainting goat of a Valardian princess, half out of breath and flush faced, gave him a rather large (for a beggar) sum of silver. But did he do the wise thing and buy some food? No; he bought some things to trade, and traded it, then traded some more, and traded even more, trading up and up until he was able to turn the princess's small donation/investment into a nice chunk of silver. And then he never went hungry again, finding his calling as a trader. Now he has found that once Princess who is now a Marquessa and has sworn his allegiance to the Sanna family as well as to Giant's Reach, eager to aid her as she aided him those many years ago and repay the old debt.

This man radiates pride and confidence; with skin like darkened bronze, eyes of such a light gray they are almost like molten silver, and hair of the darkest black he tends to stand out a bit. A narrow head with angular features and a tapered jawline, his thick and smooth lips lend further to the confidence he tends to radiate. Thick brows of the darkest ebon are well manicured and hang close to the eyes, with his head nearly shaved with enough hair left behind atop his head and on his face to be visible but still short enough to nearly be smooth. He possesses a medium frame and any glimpses of his build shows a man who is at least an athlete or warrior of some fashion.

Runo can easily be described as confident, loyal, and perhaps a bit cynical. Sometimes he is a bit more outspoken, though it is generally when he knows he is able to get away with it. Given that he is honest to a fault, this can sometimes make him come off as more blunt or brash, but he does mean well.
