%T Lissa Ardellian's history is unexceptional. That isn't to say it's boring, but in a land ruled by turmoil and the constant machinations of a strange political machine, the life of a peasant is a very meager one in comparison. The young knight-aspirant isn't really too eager to tell of it, either. Maybe one day, there'll be a tale or two spread about her time weeding the farm or rooting up potatoes. Maybe.

%T Imposing isn't really a word one would use to describe the figure before you. Lithe, scrawny, and still bearing the features of a child, the Knight-Aspirant Lissa looks more akin to a noble's sickly teenage daughter than the figure they aspire to be. Lengthy, tangled brunette hair is usually tied back with a length of fraying string, the occasional lock falling loose to frame the woman's soft, fair features. Gold-speckled green eyes peer out warily from plucked thin brunette brows, the bridge of her nose that separates the pair appearing just slightly crooked in its length. Her thin lips are near-constantly pursed into a line, leaving the impression of a ponderous nature, or perhaps just a sour meal just wearing off. %T Whatever clothes she wears, they hardly fit her form, usually appearing loose or frumpy on her slim frame, her lack of chest doing little to aid her. The collar of her attire is usual kept upturned, an effort being put forth to veil the majority of her spindly neck.

%T Noble, in a word. Lissa's actions generally fall somewhere between foolhardy and outrageous, with an overwhelming tendency to leap headfirst into the aid of others. Outside of conflict, though, she's fairly calm and friendly, a bit on the skittish side of things without erring into shyness. The chivalric ideals of the Valardin people are held on a pedestal in her eyes, and almost all of her actions are in some way motivated by the romantic tales that spread by mouth amongst the commonfolk.
