He's always loved the water, swimming in it, sailing on it, he's always felt at home working on the water so it made good sense to make his fortune on it too! He was quite full of ambition as a youth, and quite rowdy as well. His childhood was full of fairly innocent trouble, some petty theft, drunk and disorderly occurrences, but nothing too extreme, he was never a naturally mean person or anything. Eventually Tython started sailing with smugglers, pirates, various sorts of 'businessmen' here and there, often to the business city Setarco. That is until one day their ship hit a storm, things started going poorly, their food stores were infested with some sort of mold, and they had to dump a good part of it, then the compass began acting off, and the winds began to blow in odd directions, noone could figure it out until they began to approach dark waters.. Tython doesn't remember much of what happened after that, the next thing he knew he was floating in a beat up dingy, and was picked up by a merchant ship after several months of being missing. No one has seen the crew or the ship he had been sailing on.e crew or the ship he had been sailing on.)
