Though the villiage was small they propsered well enough, the men would train more often than what might be considered normal, and it was well known that those from this village often displayed exceptional martial ability. Many of the boys from the villiage would serve as soldiers, mercenaries, as well as trackers and rangers. Martial ability, hunting, tracking, knowing the forests and the mountains, how to survive in them and how to defeat an opponent in them, these were common experiences for Thrond. His father would take him and his brothers to other villiages at times, and they would guard merchants and caravans, from time to time. The villiage was small after all, and much of it's prosperity was due to the services it's people could provide to others. Thrond did this for some time, but didnt take a woman or really plan on his own place in the villiage. Then one day he met a particular merchants son, who told him about the places he see and it finally inspired him to travel to Arx and from there, he'd find his next stop.x and from there, he'd find his next stop.)
