A list of all pages that have property "Background" with value "Sheena's parents, in her eyes, were good people who just made some bad choices with their life To Sheena it was not their fault they got the debt. They were only trying to help those they considered to be in more need than them. Alas, this kindness was also their downfall. Someone swindled them out of everything they owned and so they could not pay money they owed to their Lord Edward Redreef, who is now Baron Edward Stormbreak. The debt was not for ill reasons but simply because they borrowed a great deal from him to establish their family business and a little home. Sheena's Parents, Sharice and Bruce, took a loan from him to help with the establish of their merchant shop, selling baked goods and beautifully made clothing. The loss was too great for the Baron to let slide so he, unbendingly, turned her parents into thralls. They could not fault him for it, as they were the ones who did not meet the agreed upon conditions. And so, they were made thralls. Alas, their health, unbeknownst to them as well as Edward, was failing and but a year after they were made thralls their deaths took them. So, Sheena took upon the debt her parents had gained. She had trained at the knee of her mother to be a skilled seamstress. She was, perhaps, even better than her mother. Her treatment as a thrall indebted to Edward was not all that rough. When he was no longer Redreef she was brought with him, as her debt was to him personally. She continued to work off her debt as a thrall of his. Since his treatment of, at least her, was not rough Sheena did not really see the rougher side of Thralldom. When the debts of children who inherited their parents debts, as part of the Thursday's Child campaign, were bought out by Princess-Consort Alarissa Thrax Sheena was among them, to her surprise, as she thought she would be passed over with her age of Majority coming upon her soon. When given her freedom Sheena was faced with a world of options that she never had before. She might not have been one of the thralls with a rough life but she was still a thrall. She, with her freedom of choice, opted to stay with the Stormbreak as a commoner vassal. Sheena, after all, was more sheltered than one would expect of someone who was a Thrall. Not long after her freedom was granted to her an older couple, who had been adopted by the Coldrain family, offered to take her in. Not as her parents, they were far too old for that, but as their grandchild. So many choices. So may decisions. After some thinking and getting to know the older couple Sheena agreed to be their grandchild, as they had none. In the time since she was freed from Thralldom Sheena has gotten married to Dylan and become the protege of Edward. She spends more time playing around with the market than designing clothing.".
