He was accepted by his Father and raised within the Grayhopes as just any other son. As Reyner was one of the Younger children of his Father, he grew up as many younger siblings do, with a definite sense of hierarchy and the passion to defend himself at any given opportunity. He thus was quite a bit of a hellion with a sense to prove himself to the older members of his family. After alot of involvement with the criminal underworld of the Lower Boroughs as a teen and young man, Reyner fled the city after a slightly botched job to let the heat die down, and joined up with the Valorous Few band as a way to earn money. He took to the mercenary life swiftly and quite well, rising through the ranks over the years to occupy the position of Lieutenant.
