Description
When glancing at this woman it can be noted that she has forest green eyes and dark red lips, both are accented by her midnight blue hair. However, she is quite buxom for a fair skinned woman that is five feet even. She has a smile that can light up a room and those eyes of her seem to be a mix of friendly and mysterious.
Personality
Mailys is quite the warm and friendly person. She looks at life as a world of possibilities. To her everyone is to be loved, even the greatest of enemies. She has a smile at all times and laughs easily. The rare times that her temper is set off it lasts only a short time. She never holds a grudge and she does not tell anything that people tell her in confidence. Mailys is also loyal to a fault, once she gives her trust to someone it takes a lot to cause her to stop trusting them and being loyal. She prefers to see the good in everyone.
Background
Born in Setarco Mailys was one of many children, some her siblings and some her cousins, who bore the Corsetina last name. She lost her parents when she was very little, so little she knows of them. Much like her older cousin Mirari, Mailys was considered a child of beauty. Her aunt and uncle, the ones that vaguely raised this array of children, encouraged Mailys to go to Courtesan School, perhaps a little more forcefully than necessary. They wanted to capitalize on her looks. She agreed, since having people to pay for spending time with her sounded far better than doing manual labour.
And so began her life as a courtesan. She spent some years at the school learning the tricks of the trade before a member of the Saik family took up a contract with Mailys to help her build connections with various nobles. With the noble she traveled around the Lyceum making connections. When she expressed the desire to become a Whisper she was released from her contract into the embrace of the Whisper House in Arx. In Arx she met with Mirari, who was in the process of becoming a Whisper, again and Mailys spent her time doing what she could to make the Whispers a name to remember.
Then she fell in love and as day by day they grew closer eventually she was married. She tried staying a Whisper, she even ended up a Softest Whisper, but she did not feel right being an exception to the rule. So, she retured as a Courtesan. With Mirari, Mailys established the Corsetina family. At first she was content to let Mirari do most of the work while she filled bottles, picked plants, and enjoyed making small items for her shop to sell.
As with all things, eventually her marriage ended. Since then, Mailys has taken a more active role in her business with brewing her own wines while branching out into other liquors. Surprisingly enough, she also found comfort and purpose in woodworking amongst other pursuits and has been slowly learning more tricks of the trade. She works to expand her business as well as the social aspect of her family.
