Description

His immediately apparent stature and breadth brings attention where his face does not - Agnarr is rather plain, with a notched nose and a jut of jaw, erring towards the handsome if rugged side for those favoring the hardened. His sandy hair is neatly trimmed, his nearly-red full beard equally groomed, nails filed and teeth mostly free of leftovers, suggesting a hint of vanity that somewhat contrasts with the calluses wrought on his great broad palms. His size is equally deceiving: where one might think it guarantees his lethargy, his movements and posture are lively. Icy grey eyes, attentive as they are, seem to react little. Despite his size (especially his height) his physique is laden with thews, well-proportioned and symmetrical, a picture of excellent health if not especially striking otherwise.

Personality

Generally taciturn and seemingly devoid of a sense of humor, Agnarr keeps largely to himself, at least on the surface, pragmatically earning his coin through the profession of arms. He expresses a deep faith in the spirits and an unyielding nature: his appearance is apt, considering his temperament.

Background

Of common, albeit healthy stock, Agnarr tired of work on the farm and sought to relieve his family of the burden of his appetite, as well as strike out on his own. He stole away in the night with one of the farmstead's felling axes, offering service as a caravan hand - and eventually that grew to caravan guard, until he'd earned enough coin to purchase a proper panoply for himself. With a fair amount of experience underneath his (surprisingly trim) belt, he seeks work rather more in the southern reaches.
