A
Anastajia Mercy +Aiming to please and bring smiles to everyone she meets, Anastajia is a whimsical dancer in possession of a pure and sincere heart. Dreaming big, she hopes her existence can help to make the world a better place. She is always willing to listen to peoples struggles, and is she can, fill them with the warmth they need. Don't be fooled by her playful demeanor, however, as she is more clever than meets the eyes. If you believe she is easy to double cross, think again. Betray her one too many times and she will develop a grudge that will last life times.  +
Anders Nightcove +Stern, commanding. Anders is not known for his warmth or laughter. He has a strict dedication to his family and to the traditions that he believes have made the Mourning Isles great all of these years. He's willing to live and die by his ideals. The man has little interest in debate and would rather make his stances known through actions than pointless circular arguments.  +
Andreas Donatti +Although at first glance he may come off as a bit serious and intimidating. Andreas does not lack in the charming and clever departments. There is something about that collected attitude, clever use of words, and deep southern accent alluring enough to draw the right people, at the right time, in the most convenient of ways. What a lucky fellow, some say!  +
Andrel Monteaux +Andrel is a very gregarious sort of man. With a bright smile on his face, Andrel confidently strides about with a demeanor that borders on arrogance. This does little to detract from his social, if perhaps boisterous attitude, however. Ever the optimist, Andrel finds himself home in a crowd where the attention is focused on him-- manifested through an often loud, energetic voice.  +
Andrina Thornburn +A touch on the pampered side for a commoner. Andrina is idealistic and naive. The harshness of reality rarely touches her. With a daydreamer's soul she's often caught up in fantasy involving epic battles and large than life heroes. This is not to say she isn't savvy, she just isn't as pragmatic as she might otherwise be if she had lived a less sheltered life. She sees the good in everyone and likes most people.  +
Andromeda Leporidae +Andromeda is a regal woman who knows what she wants in life and there is little that will change her mind once she is decided on anything, although she is not unreasonable and is always willing to adapt. The Sword of Tremorus is fierce when on the field of battle or dealing with those she feels are lesser than herself. She does possess a sense of humor, of course, but it's very dry and sarcasm is her weapon of choice during social engagements. Among warriors, sailors, and brash types she is charming and inspiring in a way that is hard to put a finger on for most everyone else. Despite her years of experience on the field of battle, she has maintained her honor, dignity, respect and compassion for people who do so love one of their greatest Heroes. True bloodshed is not something she reaches for so easily even though she -does- enjoy a bit of violence from time to time to keep her wits about her. Within reason, of course.  +
Andry Bayweather +Andry is a survivor first and foremost. While other Knights may look down on this attitude, being more self sacrificing and 'noble' Andry hasn't lived as long as he has that way. He's done it by making the right choices to put him and those closest to him first. Yes there's ideals, there's the Gods who obviously come first, but there's always a way to make sure there is still a way to advance. Andry is always planning. There's always an angle, he casts wide nets to get involved with a great many projects, giving favors reaps favors, after all. Andry tries to keep up good relations with everyone he meets, you never know when they might be useful. He's a careful meticulous planner who makes sure to have his fingers in as many pies as possible and his sharp eye and wit to help out those in need. He is deeply pragmatic, and while his true loyalties only belong to a select few, he views them as an extension of himself. While he's a deep thinker, relying heavily on his mental skills, he is also given to bouts of passion and emotion which can sometimes be his greatest bane. Leaving him often perplexed at himself the night before, trying to figure out how to get out of this pickle. Andry also likes to use his keen mind for practical jokes. It is often a way to show those he cares for he has a deep love for them. Intricate, meticulous but ultimately harmless pranks being the tops.  +
Angelica Sanna +Intense. Focused. She has her task and her duties and she does them to the best of her ability. Her joy is the satisfaction of a job done well. Confident, outwardly calm, it's hard to say what she'd be like if she lost control. As it is, she's as placid as a deep lake, grounded and at times unfathomable.  +
Angelo DiFidante +The uncharitable might call Angelo lazy, but it's not fair. He's far from lazy. Once he finds something that traps his interests, he can be deeply passionate about it: about words, word games, philosophy, human stories, and more recently about diplomacy. He can be intense on the subject of Tehom and the other gods. Those who don't 'get it' might call Angelo aloof, but he is not that either. There is a warmth behind his reserve, an alert interest that allows him to listen to others in a focused way for an extended period of time, so that he can share his wisdom to their needs. The aggressively Lycene may call Angelo prudish, but he merely prefers intimacy to wild abandon. He's just not interested in debauchery for its own sake. He can be very sensual and deeply, imaginatively romantic when someone has his interest. The hot-tempered might call Angelo cold, but he's not cold; he's merely controlled, composed, and rarely does he lose his temper over an imagined slight.  +

Anisha Whisper +Anisha is a bright and curious thing, always eager to learn more about the people around her. Enjoying the finer things, she has a zest and passion for life that borders on (and frequently crosses into) the hedonistic. She can find enthusiasm for just about anything and tries to spread joy with her every word and action.  +
Ann Redrain +For a supposedly stuffy old scholar, Ann is a remarkably devil-may-care Princess. For an older sibling, Ann has more often been the goad to temptation and the road less traveled. Any semblance to a bookish, authoritative woman is purely coincidental. But those are the two disparate sides to Ann Moriah Redrain, and they are as interchangeable as the sun and the rain, pulled out to suit the occasion or the mercurial nature of the woman herself.  +

But those are the two disparate sides to Ann Moriah Redrain, and they are as interchangeable as the sun and the rain, pulled out to suit the occasion or the mercurial nature of the woman herself.  +
Annabella Grimhall +Anna is a bit quiet, and would much rather not interact with people if given the opportunity. Though it's not to be rude, usually, though she can be a bit sassy if caught in a bad mood. She just gets flustered easily and doesn't consider herself too good at being social. If you get her going, though, she could pick your brain for hours about the latest discoveries in the medical world or what she's been reading about in her novels lately. She rarely looks people in the eye when she does speak to them.  +
Annika Navegant +It would be easy to have become cold, or distant, living on Escuma and being mostly isolated from a lot of the Islands. But Annika was never geared towards that type of personality. She's warm, affectionate, caring to a fault in many ways, but also practical and willing to do make the hard choices when the time comes. She has always had a maternal streak, but don't let that fool you, she's not a push over.  +
Ansel Telmar +Quiet. Diligent. Friendly. Brave. Ansel is used to hearing these words to describe him by individuals that barely know him at all, and it's a rare person that could claim to know him better than that. The young lord is a difficult man to get to know, but it's not as if he is unfriendly, really- the need for courtesy and amiable agreeability was drilled relentlessly into Ansel by his father, Duke Arn, even if the older man had no desire whatsoever to ever show those traits himself. Given a choice, the young man would be happiest alone and on his own, investing himself in studies and far away from other people and their games, but that possibility was denied to him as ever being an option. So he's the Sword of the Telmarch, striving hard to live up to the obligations of his name and position, even as he never has felt particularly drawn to it. What choice does he have?  +
Ansgar Blackram +Pride has carried him far in life, what he may lack in other facets of life, Ansgar makes up for in his pride. Whether it is pride in his own achievements, pride in the history of his family or the pride of his fealty, Ansgar finds strength there. Despite his pride, he is not necessarily a man who is unable to bend and enjoy life, he can joke about his weaknesses and his mistakes. If he is reminded of the fact he's gotten to be more than just forgetful, he just smiles and plays it off as having known he was asking the same thing all over again. He may not recollect that he is well past his prime, and his own pride makes it hard for him to accept that despite being a big strong Blackram, he's getting older and slower in a fight.  +
Antea Mazetti +Antea has spent many years and much training in crafting her public facade. Studious, serious, even severe could all be appellations attached to the young woman. She tends to be brief and to the point in her speech, and while she strives to be respectful and polite to all she meets, everyone has their limitations and Antea does not suffer fools lightly. And then there is the rare moment where one can actually see the young woman behind the mask, bright with curiosity and looking to experience a world long denied to her. It is the rare occurrence to see Antea let her hair down, but she will do so at seemingly random intervals.  +
Anton Kennex +Possessing a rather imperturbable temperament, it was obvious at an early age that the genial and cool-headed Kennex would not make a very stellar combatant, especially given his languid mannerisms and seeming refusal to take anything to a violent course of action. Later, it became clear that he wasn't a pacifist so much as preferring to avoid unnecessary bloodshed, and devoted himself to the traditional noble studies, as well as a passion for fortifications and architecture in general, as well as how to find more efficiency in all systems. What he lacks in physicality, Anton makes up with intelligence and charm.  +
Antonia Amadeo +Antonia is polite and even on occasion pleasant but may seem aloof, seemingly focused on representing her lady appropriately. She does not tend to fall into frivolities of her lifestyle but rather is focused on setting the example of decorum. Overall she seems aimable and unassuming. (This may change depending on the needs of Saorise)  +
Antonio Velenosa +He might have been sent to Arx to play at Court, but Antonio's first love is still the sea - even after what he's lost there. He's not the sort to be defeated by a loss, though. Antonio is as resilient as water, and as tireless as the waves. He doesn't dwell on past failures, and he doesn't think about the possibility of more in the future. It's just not in his nature. He pairs a crass sailors' sense of humor with a nearly boundless well of positivity. In his mind, there's nothing he can't do. This is not to say he's chipper, or even one of those annoyingly cheerful sorts, he just doesn't give up. Not on his friends, not on his men, and not on himself.  +
Anwen Ravenseye +Vivacious and as fierce as the sea, Anwen is known to most in the same breath as her first love: the ocean. She is quick to laugh and bright of personality, with an indomitable spirit and a thirst for adventure. She is tenacious and sometimes brash, but in quieter moments is capable of great softness and tenderness.  +
Anze Malvici +Serious and jovial, warrior and jester. Trying to find a way to smile through everything can be hard, but Anze tries. He's a warrior first and foremost, a man of the blade who's no stranger to the harsh lands of the north but he tries to balance that with a lot of smiles and good natured living. When not wielding a blade it's best to not think about what that blade is used for, and so Anze doesn't, leaving that to those times he does have to pick up the blade. And then the smiles stop.  +
