Description

Ruggedly handsome is a cliche for a reason, but it does seem to fit him. His goatee is well-trimmed, and the bits of gray beginning to show in both it and along the sides of his wind-swept black hair only seem to add to the impression rather than take away from it. He has dark, soulful eyes, nearly black as well, and tanned skin that suggests many days spent under a bright sun. There are a few scars, especially on the backs of his hands and along his arms, but they're old and well healed. He has a lean build, the kind of build one might expect to find on someone well practiced in the art of climbing. Or running.

Personality

Tolv is someone prone to thoughtfulness, though he's not necessarily quiet. He's sometimes quite willing to speak his mind, especially when pressed, and he seems most comfortable reading books, or, paradoxically, being outdoors, far from civilization. He can also be both friendly or reserved depending on the circumstances, occasionally a bit obsessive. In truth, he's just a little strange sometimes, and he does have a bit of a temper when riled, but neither of these are particularly off-putting. They might even be slightly endearing.

Background

Tolv Mora says he's from a farm somewhere north of Farhaven, a very tiny farm on the borders of a small village, insignificant places that aren't particularly important to name. He has little use for his own history, though he does enjoy history in general, particularly the kind of stories that most people tend to consider wildly exaggerated or full of metaphors for far more mundane things, such as centuries old wars. He's been around, he says, delving into old ruins or caves that tend to sometimes contain the den of an angry animal (whoops) or even angrier shavs (whoops!). He hasn't really found anything worthwhile despite these occasional experiments in risking his neck, but it hasn't particularly discouraged him from trying.
