Description
If there was ever something or someone to be described as The Jewel of the Saffron, it would be Catalana. A staggering beauty with sparkling blue eyes of the clearest Saffron waters, a wavy head of perfect golden hair, and a pair of long legs that carry her effortlessly like a warm Stormward breeze.
Personality
Catalana is a talker. Not garrulous, but a talented conversationalist who can effortlessly make others feel engaged and drawn into a discussion that she can skillfully shift any way she wishes. She's smart, clever, and charmingly sweet. She loves good conversation, particularly since she's adept at getting precisely what she wants through it, but the endearing image can be deceptive- she can (and has) drank battlehardened corsairs under the table.
Background
Something of a favored cousin of the main Kennex line, Catalana showed proficiency at social skills at an early age. When she was 18, she became House Kennex's full time diplomat. A stark contrast in path than that of her sister, Jan. Though both sisters shared a similar drive and love of what they do.
She accompanied Denholm on all diplomatic excursions, sitting down at the table as an equal for trade agreements, treaties, and marriage agreements. The latter being something she was left out of for quite some time. At least, until one fateful trip to Arx to discuss trade with the Royal family, Catalana encountered a louse of a Grayson. Prince Washburn. Though the courtship was odd, she saw him as more of a fixer upper project than a prospect of marriage, she soon grew to love the man as much as she loved her family.
Catalana now returns to Arx once more with her husband to join the rest of the House Kennex with plans to get her fingers into all the right pies.
