Thena is of middling height and build, slim but not skinny with a heart-shaped face that lends her an air of sweetness, though in repose her expression can appear vacant and slightly sullen. Her hair is a riot of dark curls that fall just below chin-length though there are glints of red in direct sunlight; her eyes are nearly black and her complexion is dusky.

Personality

Thena is bright, chipper and inquisitive. She has a boisterous active nature and loves learning, though her interests are more physical than bookish. A well-mannered girl in general, she will still sometimes slip when overly enthusiastic about something but beneath the bubbly exterior is a hardheadedness and a grim determination to achieve her goals. As soon as she figures out what those are.

Background

Born to a life of moderate poverty in a large family with Grayhope connections, Thena showed early aptitude with small weapons in a sneaky stabby sort of way and was fostered out to some Grayhope cousins who 'encouraged' this aptitude and a few others that might help her help them with the family business. Unfortunately, a fit of teenage rebellion sent Thena into the long arms of the Iron Guard, where she tries to keep to the straight and narrow. With...mixed results.
