Keyser Whitehart is a commoner with a heart of gold and a strong desire to see the people of the Lower Boroughs lifted to a standard of living she deems acceptable. She works to this end tirelessly, day and night, and doesn't seem to rue her lot in life as a no-account Crownsworn commoner existing on the charity and goodwill of her projects. Where she's come from, even she herself doesn't know, often heard talking about her life in an orphanage and learning from a school of hard knocks to live for the moment.

Keyser is a homely woman, made up to look like something she's not. Her nose, just a little too large, her green eyes, just a fraction too close to one another and thickly lined with black makeup. The mole on her left dimple obviously painted on. Her red hair is the only thing truly striking about her, bright and vivid, most often long and loosely curling. Her smile, painted the same color as her hair, is bright and warm, but missing several key teeth to shatter the welcoming effect. Her figure is curvy, rounding in all the places it ought to, though her height is just a feather taller than the norm, perhaps due to the heeled boots she favors.

Keyser is charm personified, warmth in human form, with just a dash of devilish wit for good measure. She's ready with a sharp quip when called for, but just as quick to help someone in need. To Keyser, the ends often justify the means, and she will go to great lengths to right a perceived wrong or save a tortured soul.
