Jasmine is what you get when you mix a Saraceni mother with a Fidante father to settle some dispute about whose ship sunk whose first. All this is to say, the marriage was not one born of love, but of duty, and one of the rockier examples of just how political marriages can be. There was a lot of drinking involved on both sides. All of this left Jasmine to play on her own, as she found it was best to not be under foot when either parent had gotten too far into their cups. She loved them both and did not need, nor want, to hear what one might say of the other. So she quickly learned to scuttle away with her favored toys and find the quiet places. Very few were surprised, then, when the offer becoming a diFidante was made to the family that she would accept the chance to get a little further away from her mother and father. After all, Volkov woods looked like a lot of trouble, and would need a lot of getting in and out of.

Yet when the time comes, she's not afraid to drag a wallflower out to the middleof the dance floor and kick some life into things either. et there are times she's quiet, preferring to keep to herself.
