With older children to be saddled with training to lead the House and younger children to be coddled, Arya was often left to her own devices, just as she preferred it. With such liberty, she was able to cultivate her own interests; the pursuit of the fantastical, and fiction-writing thereof. Hours would drift past as she lost herself in her own imagination, penning tales of talking creatures, woods with secrets unknown, and battles between forces of light and darkness. Oh sure, she learned to socialize and she likes a bit of courtly gossip as much as the next young noblewoman, but the unreal has always been her passion. Thus, when word began to circulate through the noble houses of the return of magic and visitors from other lands, she wasted no time setting off for Arx with a sturdy quill and an iron will, determined to seek out the fantastical happening all around herself right under the very nose of the Compact - and she'll write it all.

Fiery red locks cascade to mid-back, framing a visage of mischievous youth. Her pale green eyes sparkle with unspoken amusement, and the quirk of her full, soft lips invite others to smile as well. A light dusting of freckles span the bridge of her slightly upturned nose and high cheekbones, accentuating the porcelain hue of her skin. Her lithe build makes her seem to stand even taller than her already considerable height, while a naturally cinched waist and subtly curved hips keep her frame decidedly feminine.

The warning to not judge a book by its cover was clearly not coined with regards to Arden. Often found laughing or otherwise engaged in similar delights, its rare that she attempts to act mysterious. Due to this, she is sometimes more trusting than most, assuming honesty from others as she displays herself. She has a passion for the unknown, especially in attempting to document it, yet her habit of following up on every rumour means shes not as prolific as she might otherwise be.
