Description

Her eyes are the brown of deep woods, flecked with green like summer leaves. Her fair skin heavily freckled with time spent in the sun, generous lips naturally pink and full. She's got a hawks watchfulness in those eyes, and the stalking grace of a cat in her motions. Red hair a vibrant riot of crimson that no comb can hope to tame clouds about her face, swept back from her brow under the auspices of a single leather thong into some semblance of order.

Personality

Watchful as the hawks she favors, a woman of calculation and vigilance. While capable of deep wells of emotion much like her twin she is cool and calm on the surface under most circumstances. Protection and honor guide her principles. A deep, abiding love for all Petrichor's creations and the Mother aspect of Death.

Background

Skaldia is the younger of twins born to the Harrow line, following after Scipio as the sixth of the seven siblings. Born in the Lowers to Herman and Mathilda, Iron Guardsmen both, and raised after their deaths by their grandfather and older siblings. Skaldia was often restless even as a child. While not as outwardly boisterous as her older siblings, she took to the family practice of service and martial prowess with no less enthusiasm.

Frequently overlooked by the more boisterous family members and preferring the peace of the woods over the noise of the family home, her love of animals and the woods began early, nursing injured birds and befriending wayward rabbits, as a young girl more than one 'family dinner' was pardoned by Skaldia before it ever reached the table. Though practicality and acceptance of Death's place in the cycle of life tempered her desire to save the animals, it became that which would guide her to become part of the Lodge of Petrichor at a young age.
