Description

A toweringly tall man and powerfully built, Jarryck has the obvious build of a soldier, and this has been honed over the years. He has a close cropped dark brown beard, covering a face with green eyes and a slight tan, caused by his time in the field. Although perhaps fearsome looking at first, he often has a smile on his face, and rarely scowls.

When in battle, Jarryck dresses in mail and boiled leather, but when in more relaxed situations he wears brown breeches, leather boots, which are well worn and made of rather bad quality leather, and a matching tunic.

Personality

Jarryck is the sort of person who you would want on your side in a fight; fierce and clever. Although a seemingly gruff man, and perhaps a little badly spoken, this is not the true personality of the man. He is, in fact, when you get to know him, a good humoured man, who can be open and friendly. Also, the fact that he is tall and big often makes some think of him as somewhat of a brute, whereas this is the opposite of the truth. He is in fact, rather intelligent, and plans what he does in advances, thinking of the risks and rewards. And although a soldier, he has a soft side and will try and protect others who are weaker than himself.

Background

Born in the Crownlands to nobody of importance, Jarryck was born a large baby. His parents were both farmers, and as Jarryck grew stronger and taller, he was made to work on the farm, something he was good at, since it was physical. He found the work tiresome, however, and was always fighting the other boys, when he could.
