As the eldest son of a wealthy merchant, his aspirations and desires are not unusual or unfounded. He was groomed from a young age to take up the business after his father, and he fully intends on making Mercier wine on par with the legendary wines of the Lyceum. He is used to being doubted; it only emboldens him more. He lacks the experience of his father, but has the skillset which could very well get him to his goal with the right contacts. He has an innate sense of when to speak, how to speak and what to say, and when to keep quiet. Whether it is supplication, accusation, cajolery, exuberance, scorn, tears, complaint, and perhaps even the hint of threat - this talent can be used to manipulate, wound or dominate others when needed. Lazarus is health-conscious and very concerned with nutrition and hygiene.
