While mere commoners, her clan raised her as a shaman, and as a shaman she showed promise to the local noble families. Her education was supplemented by one of these families - a smaller branch of the Halfshav family - giving her a fair familiarity with how the higher classes live. Upon completing her education, a process that took some years of her adulthood, she became employed as an in-house shaman to that same distant branch of House Halfshav. Her employment was successful, and she became trusted with caring for the younger members of the home. Now, more recently, she has arrived in the capital. One of the wilder children of the house has been sent with her, under her care and guidance, to learn to be properly civilized in the home of the Crown.
