Description

The kind of woman who can part crowds like the sharpest of keels, she's tall and imposing. The mohawk of dark hair certainly doesn't help soften the image either. Almost always seen with a permanently affixed scowl, though she's known to have a brilliant smile when in comfortable company. Athletically built and proud of her physique, as she worked very hard on it, she's not without curves. Though if you take notice of them, she'd probably punch your nose through the back of your head.

Personality

Gruff, hard, but not unpleasant. Naomi is the type to keep one hand on her hilt at all times. She has a tendency to be wry, sarcastic, even playful if she's among friends. But there's no doubting she loves a good fight, though not necessarily the type to go looking for one, either.

Background

Daughter to the Captain of the Kennex Corsairs, Naomi grew up idolizing her father. Nothing short of a hero of the greatest tales to her with his violet and white cape. When her father saved the then Marquis, Denholm from certain death, the Marquis elevated her father to his own personal guard. A promotion that set Naomi on a path that she would never stray from.

As she grew older, she trained, she worked her way up the ranks of the Kennex Corsairs, until she was next in line to become the Marquis' personal guard. Then the unthinkable happened; Denholm and her father were killed by the usurping captains. If only she had worked harder, been promoted faster, she could have stopped the murders, she could have done her job. Despite her self punishment, there was nothing she could have done. The coup was too well staged, too planned out.

When the dust settled and Ford Kennex took his place as the new Marquis, he brought Naomi on as his personal guard at the behest of his sister Octavia, as well as the reputation of her family. He also appointed her as interim Admiral of the Fleet until a new one could be appointed. A task she was proud to have, until she heard of the trouble in Arx, then she knew she had to go to the big city to stand at the side of her Marquis.
