Description
With a lacksadaisy blasé about his appearance, like any Lycene the scribings of one who cared little for the perception of himself was anything but the truth. Each out of place dark lock that trails across his brow or disheveled bit of silk he wears is a carefully crafted costume intended to accentuate his natural good looks by the façade of carelessness. He carries himself in a similar manner, his movements much like the rise and fall of the tide; it is a slow undulation that plays parallel to his calm demeanor. Never too hurried, never too anxious... Elysio seems to be a walking representation of the peace one assumes of his heavenly namesake.
Personality
With vanity diluted by a uniquely personal brand of integrity, the youthful knight is not one to expose his thoughts openly in the social sphere. Etiquette known more commonly amongst the Peerage is his armor, though all of these years as a fallen scion of his disgraced house has bred the occasional slip in decorum. Content to be admired from near or far, the knight exudes a palpable aura of calm often times inadvertently puts those in his presence at ease by his unflappable nature alone. Even with the placid surface of a reflection pool that Elysio seems to be, there is a fire that burns deep within the man's smoldering gaze.
Background
The heirloom weapon of Iriscal is not a sword, it's a hairpin. Diminutive and ornate, it represents yet one more granule of salt on an ancient wound. House Tessere's betters long ago saw fit to melt down that once-proud object, halving it and halving it again. Fitting that the young man who now wields it is as much a courtier as he is a knight. It's as if to say, 'What threat anymore are we who entrust our honor to one who favors beauty over bloodshed?'
Dressage darling of Forte Carizzo, Lord Elysio Forza was summering at the finishing school of his childhood when word came of the attainder suffered by his head of house. In its broad strokes, the condemnation touched even him and he soon found himself a young Lord no more.
It was the late Lucrezia Tessere, wife of Elysio's paternal uncle, who took the boy underwing. House Tessere was good to him. In exchange, Elysio endeavored to be a most steadfast servant and protector.
Following the sudden demise of his long-time patron, Elysio has as much reason as anybody to seek answers.
