What some might term to be rugged if not handsome features grace the man before you, His hair of black kept short along the sides allowing a faint glimpse of his scalp while the top is left to be a few inches longer. While one of Remi's most notable features, his eyes of startling blue with just a hint of grey look out upon the world around him with a small glimmer of amusement or maybe even wickedness given the mischief burried deep within those shifting depths. The man's facial features themselves show the markers of good genetic stock from his high cheek bones to his sculpted jawline that holds a faint five o'clock shadow.

At a height of just over six feet and normally weighing around 240 pounds Remi has a build that many might call athletic if not solidly built, the body of a man who knows work as the callouses upon his hands might well suggest to those who notice such small details. While Remi's dark tanned flesh shows the kiss of the sun and a great deal of time spent under it.

Personality

Remi could be best summarized as being much like the sea itself, Calm and reserved one moment while the next he is just as liable to be wild and unpredictable. What is known of the man from before his long disappearance where he was believed to be lost at sea and likely dead is that he can be rather calculating and ruthless when he wants something.

Background

Remi's childhood is mostly a blur to the man due to years of drink and occasional drug use to help dull the pain of the memories from the time of the Tyde Rebellion when his parents were killed and he was forced to bear witness. Remi himself nearly dying and to this day still bearing across his back from the experience.

After the rebellion and growing up in his grandfather's home Remi spent much of his time practicing with the sword and going over charts and texts on tactics at sea. Remi taking on a focus to avoid such tragedies again. Finally at fourteen Remi left the protection of his grandfather's home to go to sea seeking out experience on a ship serving within the fleet. For 3 years that would be his life serving with time spent out to sea protecting the interests of the family and at times expanding their holdings. At the age of 17 while serving as First Mate the ship he was on was lost at sea, Other ships in the area reporting a violent storm and tempest close to where the ship was believed to have been. While the ship was grounded on coral during the violent storm and mostly destroyed Remi managed to survive with a few other members of the crew. The first to find the off course crew that had been stranded being a local pirate who the group had actually been hunting. Due to his heritage Remi was taken prisoner meant to be ransomed back to the family while the rest of the survivors were executed.

Remi managed to in his time with the captain before the ransom was made able to convince the man to allow him the chance to serve instead making the argument that he would be able to help bring in at least as much as whatever ransom he had hoped for as a member of the crew and gain the real experience he craved without concern for politics. For whatever reason the captain allowed the young man to remain and for 3 years he would serve on the ship before taking to captaining under the guise of The Tempest.

Now five years later he finds himself returning to where those who knew him are and the games of politics seeking once more to serve his family while also serving his own interests in the city. The man for one reason or another seeking out life among the court and its manipulations as well as his families own.
