Vena Venelana/Reflection

Name: Rias Venelana, Vena is actually her nickname and what she prefers to go by.

Pit-fighting community: Members and fans of the pit-fighting community, especially older individuals would likely recognize Vena. She was known as "Demoness" due to her unorthodox fighting style of using any part of her body, and any kind of blow that won't get her disqualified from any given fight. Also for how she fights with a cold, emotionless, and vicious way. She was a purely unarmed fighter, and while during her early to mid-career she mostly had as many wins as losses towards the end she started to gain more wins than losses. As a result her overall career she has a handful more wins than losses. She is also known to have bone beads attached to leather thongs which hung from her lamellar cuirass like tassels to keep score of her wins and losses. Blood red stained beads for fights she won, the natural bone color for fights she loss.

• Years Active: Demoness started training as a pit-fighter around the age of 14, though she likely started fighting actively around 16. She retired when she was around 27. To make her seem more impressive, and due to how young she looks, Demoness was said to be younger if she was ever questioned. The ages above was her actual age at the time, she is actually 32 at the time of approval, though her apparent age is 28. This inconsistency is due taking care of his skin, also her natural facial features gives her a little bit of a "baby-face" which is further enhanced by her shorter stature. IC her true age would be known to very few from the pit-fighting community, if anyone. While active as a pit-fighter Demoness had as her patron Prince Sherrod Redrain.

House Redrain: Sherrod Redrain was Vena's patron when she was a pit-fighter, as such she has some ties to the Redrain family. At least those with an interest in unarmed fighting or pit-fighting in general. She would not have been anyone's teacher as she's not trained in that, she may have been someone's sparring partner so they could practice their skills while learning against someone who could take a blow and know not to harm them. Anyone fitting that would most likely know her as "Mistress Rias" or just "Rias" instead of Vena. Vena bought her contract from Sherrod roughly 5 years prior to the approval of the character, when she retired from the pit-fighting community and moved to Arx to start a new life. She did leave in reasonably positive terms with Sherrod.

Crownsworn: After retiring from the pit-fighting community and coming to Arx, Vena became Crownsworn, anyone with dealings with the Crownsworn since that time, feel free to speak with me about possible connections.

Mira: Mira is Vena's 5 year old daughter, born towards the end of the year of the first year Vena lived in Arx. SHe is adorable and very much a five year old, she may be posed in on any scene where it would make sense for a 5 year old to be present, for added entertainment or amusement. I tend to ask when it is possible for her to be present to see if others mind having a five year old around, though players are welcome to ask for Mira to be present as well if they want to meet her.

Employment: Vena had a fairly good bit of silver when she arrived in Arx due to her share of bets from when she was a pit-fighter, however now she is a single mother, she is starting to look for employment elsewhere so she can ensure her daughter is cared for properly.
