A distant cousin of the Darkwater Family, distant enough to be considered fully out of the line of succession, Eamon was left on his own to come up with a way to make a living. Enrolling in the Navy, his connections let him rise through the ranks quickly - backed by his sharp mind and keen ability to turn conflicts around. As he was trusted with greater and greater command, his aptitude only grew, and soon word started to spread about the man, with many nicknames given - but none seeming to stick. He seemed to have hit the height of his progression without formal rank right before the Pirate King appeared and the war began in earnest. Darkwater Watch was ravaged. Even Eamon's mind wasn't enough to pull out a miracle, and when he found his ship surrounded, there was nothing he could do but barely manage to survive on a piece of driftwood until he was picked up by a passing merchant ship. But out of chaos, opportunity arises. With Darkwater's ranks severely depleted, his opportunities have skyrocketed, and so Eamon heads to Arx to make the connections needed to make his family strong once more.

A long, narrow and oval face, contoured pleasantly and topped with a crown of short-cropped, dark, curly hair dominate this man's features. Below his brow, eyes colored a few shades lighter brown than his skin stand sit prominently. The skin itself is darker than most, nearly a true black, the man or his heritage clearly coming from the Isles and somewhere with an incredible amount of sun, at that. A few thin scars mar the complexion, the peach color looking white in contrast, but none seem too damaging and his physical form moves with a confident stride.

Quick to smile, slow to brood, eager to laugh, Eamon does not hold the stodgy, detached attitude that many might think a man devoted to the more abstract side of battle might. Yet all of this fades when he is put into a situation where he is needed, his demeanor turning hard and serious. Still, these occasions are rare, and he seems to have a good sense of when calls for what. Beyond that, he has a ravenous desire for books and knowledge, seeming convinced it will give him the edge he needs. If he doesn't have his hands on a copy of some book or a quill in his hand in the evening, even while laughing at the tavern with his friends, it is a very unusual sight indeed.
