Description

A man on the late side of what good years he had and a mildly rotund shape, Seymour isn't anyone's idea of an imposing figure. If anything he looks like some merry uncle who brings kids exotic gifts that the parents end up loathing. From the kind wrinkles from too many laughs to the heft of his belly, Seymour is idle civility.

His hair is a densely curly brown cut very short so as to maintain a tidy appearance. It rings the side of his head, the top and front having gone utterly bald a number of years ago. His skin is a neutral brown matched by his eyes, and he is utterly devoid of facial hair. The impression is given that even could he grow it, the stuff would be too untidy for this mild-mannered man.

Personality

Seymour is a bit of a shark. He is happy to meet people but never offers anything without of an expectation of something in return. He is fine with win win scenarios and tries to encourage them, especially if he wins more than everyone else. To that end he'll be friendly as can be. He dislikes anything that isn't going to result in some sort of profit. Marriage especially, ever since his divorce.

Background

Seymour was the son of prodigals who had recently joined the Compact in Gemecitta two generations ago. Born a full citizen of the compact, he was the first in his family to do so. He was given the best education money could buy by struggling parents and never forgot the goodness, nor the suffering, they experienced. He has since used their help and his own talents to become independently wealthy and is nowhere near ready to retire.

He has recently come to Arx after that unsavory business in Southport, where he had been working previously. Though he had no part in it he expected things to go far worse than they did, and now needs to find a new base of clientelle for his trouble.
