Description

With his hair a backcomb of voluminous dark brown hair that curls away from his square forehead, before being slicked back at the sides, the distant cousin of Alexio and Andreas worked his style off of those two and perfected it further - in his view. His tanned complexion amplifies his dark hair, the brooding honey brown eyes and thick eyebrows resting just-above it. High cheekbones and a gaunt, chiseled, jawline further sophisticates the man above his peers. A faint kiss of stubble dashes across his face before two plush, pinked lips pout just below a long, slightly upturned, nose.

Built of a slender, almost scrawny build, Alrigo stands at 5'9" with side shoulders and slender frame. The build of a runner, with the eyes of a brooding scoundrel.

Personality

A honey-tongued cousin of the social Donatti brothers, Alexio and Andreas, Alrigo has an independent streak in comparison to the rest of the family. He knew when he arrived in Arx, and after making his first casket of silver, that he needed more. With the family's earnings taking a hit from the distant branch of the family, this left with Alrigo the mark of doing what he needed to in order to bring in casket-after-casket of silver to develop him into being a driven entrepreneur. He is quick to laugh, pearl-white teeth often on show as he talks his way out of problems. Being around Arx and the dockyard, he has begun to play the game of politics and learning whose hand needs to be shaken to get that shipment in. There is that swagger, that smile, that makes avoiding him near impossible when he sets himself to it.

Later in life, after setting himself up in Arx from Ischia, Alrigo began expanding his clothing line. Learning the craft while in Arx, since dock work pays so little, ahead of the rest of the Donatti family to set-up shop. For Alrigo, that drive and need to be a success, there will be nothing to stop that business growing. For the Donatti name to be worn by every respectable man in the Compact. For DIE to be the success it needs to be to elevate their reputation.

Background

Born further out from the main Donatti family, Alrigo had instilled in him by mother and father the need to always do better. The family worked the docks of Ischia for years and, working around the rougher parts, Alrigo quickly learned how to survive on his feet and use that honey-dipped tongue to escape signs of trouble.

After Alexio began building his business in Caina, Alrigo aided the contacts needed in Ischia to start. Here he found some success, a little bit, but soon he knew to make even more money he needed to start growing the business in Arx itself. Here he worked from the bottom and gradually started to build up, learning his tailoring trade, to a point which has caught some attention for just how this man from the docks of Ischia has ended up wearing fine clothes and looking like a cock among hens. Obviously, from Alrigo, he tells the brilliant tale about how the family that was too poor to even eat on some days - ended up being who he is today. A few hearts open up to that, melting in his hands. The story of how this lad from Ischia, who never even once picked up scissors, was able to craft fine jackets for the commoners and once even a Baron. Eyebrows raised. What did he know about fashion?

Using that honey-dipped tongue of this, Aligro has since discovered ways to talk himself out of most problems in life, flipping the issue on its head, and pointing at someone else as being the reason it all went wrong. This helped him build up contacts that gave him the ability to open up coffers of silver to fund the family's business - Donatti Imports & Exports.
