Description

Sharp of feature and sly of grin, this man calls to mind nothing so much as a big cat. He prowls, or sprawls, throwing his lanky frame about with abandon, completely unconcerned about audience, ownership, or previous occupants. He has a wild and unrestrained look, with a messy mane of deepest brown waves and curls and a fullbody scrawl of black and white tattoos, but his age is hard to determine. His wide, handsome jaw is so smooth it seems unlikely he ever needs to shave, and with an easy smile and lacksadaisical manner, it lends him a boyish charm. His eyes, though, are as dark as pits and just as deep.

Personality

In a word: unpredictable. Skald is much like a big cat - not like a big house cat, but like a panther - prone to prowling, sprawling and draping his lanky form wherever he likes. Unconcerned with either social conventions (or concepts such as personal space or property), he is unhurried and completely unselfconscious, happy to appropriate any space he occupies for exploration or simple lounging. Skald is an amalgam of contradictions; he is old enough to hold true, deep wisdom, and yet fractious enough to act without consulting it. He does have some traits that can be pinned down. He likes a good time, his boredom often turns dangerous, and he is - in general - in favor of freedom. For everyone.
