Description

Faelan is a tall leanly built fighter that moves with a predatory sort of grace. Body toned from years of sailing and fighting, and training to do both. He has blonde hair usually pulled back into a shoert tail and the sides of his head are typically shaved down to the skin. His eyes are the bright blue of the ocean on a sunny day.

His cllothing is typically rugged but well made, meant to last him out at sea. Sturdy leather boots come up to his upper calf, tightly wrapped leather lacing keeping the tops snug to his legs, helping prevent water oer vermin from invading his footwear. His pants are a loose fitting black, a broad belt with multiple loops for weapons belts over a green tunic, showing his house colors, though more often than not the tunic is hidden beneath armor of some sort or another.

Personality

There is a quiet intensity to him, like a watching predator deciding if those he's looking at are food or not. At times that quiet intensity boils over into bursts of raging violence, and that change can often come on sudden and unexpectedly, bubbling just beneath the surface at all times, not worn openly on the sleeve. His normal demeanor is one of focus, methodical thought and action.

Background

Faelan is neither the oldest, nor the youngest, of Dion and Annika Navegant's children. As such, there was really no expectations placed on him beyond being happy, and allowed to do what he wanted to with his life. Which was sail

As a child he would accompany his mother and father out on the ships when they went, explored much of the Mourning Isles this way before many of the boys his age. When he was roughly ten years old he went to foster with Grimhall in some sort of inexplicable agreement that his parents made. Which, ultimately worked out for him for the best.

See, Faelan was a little more aggressive, and surprisingly more traditional about some things, like raiding, than the others in Navegant. He ended up flourishing under the guidance of Grimhall, and has in fact spent the last decade of time sailing with them. With the rising trouble in the Darkwater Deep, and the attacks in Arx, he has been called to the capital to aid family and fealty against the Compact's enemies.
